dad and i decided to be all patriotic and watch the local indian movie "appalam"...and apparently it brought a lot of memories for dad...or at least i think, cause he was being all emo the rest of the day bout how 'time flies'...well maybe not really, but you get the idea..
so in turn, decided to make macaroons, who knows where i went wrong, they ended up too tiny, flat, and some too brown..well that declares first time failure & not beginners luck, then again why are macaroons so expensive i wonder. like a tiny piece in some places cost 4 bucks which i think is nonsensical...oh well this brings me to be more determined to make 'em right...well hopefully tomorrow. shall go look into my salmon recipe dinner for tonight..
